Firedance

For unaccompanied French Horn.

This short composition came to me during a visit in Zurich in summer 2016 observering a Street Artist (a firedancer) moving his arms around in fast circles with long Torches. Because of its dangerous speeds and unbelievable endurance, his movements became like a dance.
